| Services needed to break young user cycle
TEENAGERS are dying and families are being torn apart due to a lack of services for adolescent drug addicts, campaigners have claimed. A shortage of detox facilities for teenagers, a lack of mental health beds, no proper aftercare for teen drug users when they come out of treatment along with limited accommodation facilities for recovering addicts are combining to create a crisis within Ireland's adolescent population. While services for teenage addicts improved in recent years, much of a 2005 government-sponsored report on the problem remains to be implemented. Professionals have identified the lack of residential detox facilities, specifically earmarked for adolescents, as a key weakness in the State's battle against drug addiction. Two of the country's main drug treatment centres, Beaumount Hospital and Cuan Dara in Dublin, have no designated detox programmes or beds for under-18s.

UPDATE: Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman have a baby ...
I figured the mother's of the people responsible for Superficial sent their little babies to 'sleepy time' around seven in the evening. Yay. I really am not looking foward to all these new celebrity babies. People have children all the time and it's no big deal, admittedly. To the parents, yeah, it's huge having a baby, whatever -- because people just can't believe that they reproduce -- it's absolutely amazing! Sure, breeder. You put your genitals together and what did ya' think would happen? By the way, other people could care less about your baby. It's your child. Just; and who fucking cares? No, Dick, you just don't understand! You just don't get it. Yes, for once you're right. I don't understand the importance; thank god! Celebrities are the worst too, because they somehow think that they're heroes for having children.
Chelsea Flower Show 2008: Grand plans
Home for Lady Lennox-Boyd, the wife of Sir Mark Lennox-Boyd, former Parliamentary Private Secretary to Margaret Thatcher, is Gresgarth Hall, Caton, a Victorian house in Sir Mark's old Lancashire constituency. And here, looking across acres of richly planted terraces, borders, walled garden, meadow, bog and woodland, framed by a lake, steep hillsides and a fast-flowing river, no-one can be left in any doubt about her appetite for her subject. It is the red-blooded passion of an Italian, for Arabella Lennox-Boyd, née Parisi, was born and brought up in Rome. She says it was the Apennine Mountains and their wildflowers that were her early love. .
