He said the attorney accepted $750,000 just to push for a guilty plea. "Pure fantasy," Fitzgibbons said. One judge scolded Sierra for talking to reporters and another went easy on teacher-turned-sex offender Lafave, accused of getting too friendly with a teenage co-worker. Camelot Counseling Centers opened Staten Island's first adolescent male residential program in 1992. Incredibly, in New York City, there are fewer than 200 beds for youths in public treatment programs for chemical dependency. Camelot is prepared to house up to 35 young adults who will undergo rehabilitation, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In our program, these young men will receive individual counseling, family therapy, group therapy, multi-family group, vocational services, on-site educational service and participate in recreational activities. Organizations like the Staten Island Children's Campaign assist agencies such as Camelot in restoring hope to struggling Island youths and provides them with the opportunity to turn their lives around.

Antigua worth knowing
ENGLISH HARBOUR, ANTIGUA: The island with 365 powdery-sand beaches, one for each day of the year, is one of the least-known Caribbean islands to most Americans. But two Brits, Adm. Horatio Nelson and guitarist Eric Clapton, were and are very familiar with Antigua, a former British colony that is popular with yachters and the the nautical crowd. Nelson commanded the British naval base and shipyard at English Harbour on the island's southern coast in the 1780s. His dockyard no longer caters to naval ships. Instead, it serves sailing ships and yachts. Clapton has built his $8 million house along the rocky southern shore not far from English Harbour, as well as a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Antigua has been a second home to Clapton. English Harbour is one of the top tourist hubs on Antigua, along with Dickenson Bay on the north coast.
